- You will complete assignments through our Virtual Learner Environment (VLE).
- You can verify your own assessors (two assessors required), or they can be provided by us. Full details can be provided on request.
- You can choose observation methods that do not require in person attendance.

How does the course work?
There are no exams to be taken during the course, you will work through your assignments which will be marked by your personal tutor. They are there to support you throughout the course and will be your main contact for any issues or questions that you may have. This will mainly be through email/online feedback, but you can schedule a call if you want to speak with them directly.
Once you have completed your course you will receive a hard copy and digital copy of your certificate. There are no additional fees for certificates except for replacement hard copies which will cost £25.

You will understand the context and principles of internal quality assurance, understand how to plan the internal quality assurance of assessment, understand techniques and criteria for monitoring the quality of assessment internally, understand how to internally maintain and improve the quality of assessment, understand how to manage information relevant to the internal quality assurance of assessment and understand the legal and good practice requirements for the internal quality assurance of assessment.

Be able to plan the internal quality assurance of assessment, be able to internally evaluate the quality of assessment, be able to internally maintain and improve the quality of assessment, be able to manage information relevant to the internal quality assurance of assessment and be able to maintain legal and good practice requirements when internally monitoring and maintaining the quality of assessment.
How to enrol

Eligibility
Learners should be qualified assessors and have experience of working in assessment. You should ideally hold a Level 2 (A-C) in English and Maths. We will review eligibility on a case by case basis. A good standard of written English is essential, please inform us of any specific learner needs.

Please choose the buy now or spread the cost option. Remember you will only receive your certificate once paid in full. We do not perform credit checks or apply interest for monthly payments. We will take recurring payments from your card each month.

No we never charge interest or do any credit checks for monthly payments, we will take recurring card payments on the same date each month from your first payment. You will only receive your certificate once payment has been made in full.
Yes you will need two Assessors with two learners each who are undertaking qualifications that prove occupational competence. You can either use our Assessors or your own.
If you are using your own Assessors you will need an expert witness from your workplace to sign off any evidence based work.
Our Assessors can be provided at no extra cost and you can verify them remotely. We cannot guarantee sector specific Assessors, but they do not need to be sector specific to gain your qualification.
You will access our online learning platform where you will find all the learning materials and resources. You will make your way through the assignments which will be marked by your personal tutor. There is no need for any face to face learning or observations by us.
If you are using your own Assessors then your expert witness will sign off any evidence based tasks or observations. When using our Assessors you will choose quality assurance methods that don’t involve face to face observations.
You will have your own personal tutor for the duration of the course, you will be able to email them and arrange calls for further support. Even though this is a self study course you will have one to one support whenever you need it.
TAQA stands for Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance. It is not a qualification it is the umbrella term for assessor and quality assurance qualifications. The Level 4 IQA replaced the V1 and D34 qualifications, they are still recognised but no longer delivered.
On Average learners take around 4-6 months to complete the course but some finish it sooner and others take longer. It really comes down to how much time you can put in. You will have 12 months to complete your course. We will be able to discuss an extension beyond 12 months and there may be admin fees applied to continue.
